My Review:
Looking through my movies and wanting something based in space to watch I decided to put on Supernova which is a film in which I couldn't remember at all. Not remembering it made me feel like this was a new movie to me and I did keep me watching all of the way through easily.

I like that this film showed how the device in which they discover is able to make people stronger and able to make them younger as well. By also having this device able to reattach body parts it makes the audience worried about how they will get rid of the villain since he has gotten overtaken by the device. I also liked that the villain showed how the team were not as strong as they thought that they were and easily manipulated. I also enjoyed seeing how they changed the computer programme to have a little more human emotion and is willing to go against their own code about hurting humans to save a human in which it loves however is too late to do so. This was really sweet and made me feel sorry on the Sweetie the computer programme. The ending in which the captain and the doctor manage to get back to Earth and how she is pregnant was a great way of ending the movie as it showed how something good came from it and that the father to her child was still with her and they would be able to go back to Earth and live their lives together. This film did captivate me though and made me want to keep watching and wonder what was going to happen next.

However, I feel that the beginning of the movie didn't feel like a beginning and I'm not sure wither it is because it is part way into their mission while they are away or just not enough background was given about the mission in which they were already on before embarking on a rescue mission. I also thought that there could have been more on the doctor's and the villain as they had a past prior to having re-met on the ship. The only other thing about this I feel could have been improved is really adding more time for each of the characters as I feel it was hard to connect to them as they were rather rushed over.

Overall, I think this is a good sci-fi movie however the characters don't connect to the audience as well as they could. I would recommend this to people who are looking for a space thriller to watch. I would watch this again.

My Rating: 3/5

I Am Wrath (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: I Am Wrath Year: 2016 Genre: Action, Crime, Drama Directed By: Chuck Russell Starring: John Travolta, Christopher Meloni, Amanda Schull About:  A man is out for justice after a group of corrupt police officers are unable to catch his wife's killer. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwiQCDpYzjE My Review: When my mum came home with this movie I had no idea what to expect as I had never heard of it before but liking a lot of movies with John Travolta I had high hopes that I would enjoy it. This film did surprise me a lot and something in which I enjoyed a lot more than I had expected. Starting I Am Wrath with Stanley's wife dying and how he went out for revenge made me think that this was somewhat based off of a John Wick movie, however as a fan of the trilogy this didn't bother me at all. Showing how the police and people higher up didn't care about who killed his wife and even let the killer go as he was part of a gang in which the police wer

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (film review)

Film: Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Year: 2017 Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Jack Black About:  Four teenagers are sucked into a magical video game, and the only way they can escape is to work together to finish the game. My Review: As someone who grew up watching the Jumanji film with Robin Williams I was worried about the new film and if this would ruin the film that I grew up loving. I was gladly proven wrong! This film is based after Jumanji and is through a video game which is more with the times rather than board games, not only this but it is based around two people who are more nerds/geeks (one male and one female) and two of the popular group (one male and one female). As you see them coming to terms with their new characters and making it so that the popular ones are the more weak characters who aren't as popular and vice versa it made the film something for everyone. The casting for this film was amazing and hav
