This is a film in which I always enjoy, makes me laugh and has songs in which I always find myself singing along to. I love that this film has the traditional Disney set up however has the girl as someone who is in charge and tying to save her people by going to the Gods and putting the heart back. I love that this has her having to find out the true history of her people in order to understand why it is so crucial for her to go and find the De...

Lord Of The Flies (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Lord of the Flies Year: 1990 Genre: Adventure, Drama, Thriller Directed By: Harry Hook Starring: Balthazar Getty, Chris Furrh, Danuel Pipoly About:  Stranded on an island, a group of schoolboys degenerate into savagery. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnCn2VTzY90 My Review: Having not seen the film since I was in high school due to studying the book I decided to give this a watch and found that I still loved the film. Lord of the Flies is about a group of boys who when they end up on a stranded island try and obey the rules however as time goes on the boys start to become more savage. Will the boys be able to get rescued before it goes too far however? I think that this film is great at showing a lot of symbolism and foreshadowing throughout the film and showing how without rules in which to follow the human impulses are able to get through which are more violent. Showing the two camps the watcher is able to see how some people are able to stay hu...

The film is about Red who ends up going to anger management classes however when pigs show up on Bird Island Red and his two friends Chuck and Bomb try to find out what is happening. However, as the pigs end up being evil the three friends do everything they can to save their homes. I loved this movie a lot more than I thought I would and found myself laughing at it and finding it really rela...
