Butterfly Summer - Anne-Marie Conway (book review)

Butterfly summer by Anne-Marie Conway is such a great little mystery novel which follows Becky who moves to Oakbridge with her mum and becomes friends with a girl who is always at the Butterfly Garden called Rosa May. However as Becky finds out about a photo from her mothers past which she has no idea about she starts questioning her mum and everything she knows about the past. This is such a good fast-paced novel in which I couldn't put down once I picked it up. It is kind of predictable a times but there is a great twist near the end of the book which was amazing. I do think it ended rather abruptly however and there was more of the novel that could have been expended on and leaves you wanting more by the end of the book. I would highly recommend this book to younger readers who are looking for a mystery book as well as people wanting a mystery book who wants a very simple story line that is really easy to follow.

Goosebumps: Attack of the Graveyard Ghouls - R.L. Stine (book review)

Goosebumps: Attack of the Graveyard Ghouls is the eleventh book in the Goosebumps series and one that will leave you constantly wondering what happens next. With small chapters throughout the book and ones that always end on a cliffhanger you are constantly engaged in the novel and don't want to put the book down. This book is about a little boy who on a school trip by accident knocks over the grave of two brothers who are desperate to have a body and cause havoc in their wake. As this happens a little boy named Spencer must go on an adventure and try and get his body back while also having the difficulty of only being able to travel by jumping into someone else's body. As a goosebumps fan this was an amazing read that is very easy and one that made me excited to read more of the Goosebumps series. I would highly recommend this to children and adults alike who would like a good read and one that you wont want to put down while also being a horror.
