Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR-5Rme7sQ8 My Review: With it being Pride month and having this movie on my To Watch list on Netflix I thought that this would be the perfect time to give this movie a watch. I wasn't sure what to expect with this movie and although it surprised me and I liked it more than I expected there is more in which I wish that they did with this film. I personally liked how A Kid Like Jake focused on the parents and how they both came to terms with how their son liked to dress as a girl and how it could be possibly more than that and that he could possibly be transgender. I liked this as it showed how the father was more accepting even though he didn't feel great about it and how the mother was in denial...
