The movie is about a girl who spends her time always recording everything around her and when her, her boyfriend and her cousin go to Malibu to house sit comes across a musician on the beach and create a friendship which will last forever. I thought that this film had a good way of showing how sometimes in music it is hard to do what you really want to due to record labels having artistic control over the music.
