This film did surprise me with how much I did end up enjoying it and I feel knowing nothing about this movie before seeing it was a good way to go in as it all came as a surprise for me. I really liked that this film was based on one girl and followed her all of the way through and showed how she was getting the man in which she had a crush on after everything on her birthday seemed to be going wrong. I thought by showing how her whole family forgot about her birthday made the audience feel sorry on ...

Nineteen Eighty-Four - George Orwell (book review)

Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell is the first book by this author I have ever read and is a book which is about a government that spies on and listens to everything and if you do not think or act how they are wanting will make you disappear from all existence. Broken into three parts which shows a different side of the world that they are living in. Part 1:  Part one of the book is getting the reader understanding of the world in which the protagonist a man called Winston is living in and his normality. This is shown by showing a world where emotions are not allowed to be felt or any thoughts in which "the party" do not feel necessary for the world they are in and if you are found thinking or feeling anything in which they do not feel is acceptable then you will be killed.
