Being a fan of Jack Whitehall who voices in the main character as well I thought that this would be a film in which I would enjoy especially as I love dogs. I did think that it was cute seeing Rex as a puppy compared to an adult as it gave the audience a better understanding of why the other corgi's thought he was annoying and didn...

Film: Pup Star Year: 2016 Genre: Comedy, Family Directed By: Robert Vince Starring: Carla Jimenez, Mackenzie Moss, Susie Wall About:  A Yorkshire Terrier, competing in a televised singing competition, is separated from her owner by an opportunist dog pound worker. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8u7iu_AJs0 My Review: Having never heard of this movie before and knowing nothing about it before I watched it I thought that I would choose something in which looked rather cute to me and with being a lover of dogs this seemed to meet the criteria. This film was a good watch and one that I am glad that I decided to put on thanks to Netflix. I really liked how this film at the beginning showed how humans were able to talk to dogs and how that evolution took place in order to understand how dogs were able to talk to humans and be able to understood. This really helped to set up the film and with it having to do with a dog singing competition helped to show how h...

Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-80SGWfEjM My Review: Having wanted to see this for years I was glad that Netflix added it as a title and couldn't resist giving it a watch and I was really glad that I did. The Secret Life of Pets is about a dog named Max who ends up with a new dog living with him called Duke. As the two don't get along they plan to get rid of each other however this leads to them going on an adventure together to get back home and creating a friendship. I thought that this was really relateable for pet owners to see how the different pets reacted to when the owner left and how they came home from work. I also thought that it was good in showing how sometimes you...

Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqtFvSKhKmA My Review: Having seen that Netflix made a new version of the film  Benji  which was initially brought out in the 1970's I couldn't resist giving this a watch and seeing how it compared to the original film and it certainly didn't disappoint! The film is about two children who are saving up for a watch that belonged to their father and end up walking into a robbery, as they do so the robbers decide to take the children with them as well. However the dog in which the children were wanting to take care of notices and helps to...
