Film: Jumanji: The Next Level Year: 2019 Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy Directed By: Jake Kasdan Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart About:  In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to rescue one of their own, the players will have to brave parts unknown from arid deserts to snowy mountains, to escape the world's most dangerous game. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBxcF-r9Ibs My Review: Loving Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle I knew I had to see this movie when it came out and luckily managed to see it in the cinema. With the cast of this film being amazing and the first one being one of my favourite releases of 2017/18 I was worried that this wouldn't have the same effect but I am so glad that I was wrong. Jumanji: The Next Level is amazing at bringing the humour back to the movie for a second time around and it doesn't feel forced or like it us unoriginal or used up from the last movie whic...

Tomb Raider (film review)

Film: Tomb Raider Year: 2018 Genre: Action, Adventure Starring:  Alicia Vikander, Dominic West, Walton Goggins About:  Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared. My Review:  Hearing that a new Tomb Raider was coming out rather worried me, as a lover of the games and a reboot as well this could be done really well or like a lot of games turned movies be not the film we as fans are wanting. As a result she ends up going to an island to start looking for the answers about her father and find out what he was really up to when he left her. While doing this Lara finds out about the truth about her first tomb. At the ...

Majora's Mask is the second graphic novel from the Legend of Zelda series by Akira Himekawa. As a Zelda fan myself and liking the game that this is based off of I found this book really enjoyable. It changes parts of the game in order to get it faster paced for the book however this doesn't fault the book at all. Not only this but the graphics within this book are really good and made me love the book even more while also making me have the music from the game in my head. The book also has a bonus story at the end which is about the making of the mask and how the mask came into being, I found this really fitting and something that is not only original but something that needed to be added to the book. As in the games it doesn't tell you how the mask was made or the story behind it this bonus story seemed like a more fulfilling piece of the story and tied up any loose ends such as how the mask came to be and why it is cursed. As a Zelda fan I can't fault this book ...
