Wanting a sci-fi movie which had AI in it I thought that this would be a great choice. I soon realised that I Am Mother was a movie in which I was engrossed by even though it did have some problems within it. Showing how Mother chose an embryo to make into a child in the facility, was something which made me question why there wasn't any humans around. Life and Death - Stephenie Meyer (book review)

Life and Death by Stephenie Meyer is a tenth anniversary of the book Twilight. As a Twilight fan and someone who managed to get through all of the Twilight Saga very quickly I decided to give this a read and see how this honored such a large part of my teenage years. This book follows Beau Swan as he moves to Forks to live with his dad Charlie, however while there he falls for Edythe Cullen a vampire who can't stay away from him. As this book goes on you see the romance between the two characters and the realism of loving someone you shouldn't. I found myself really enjoying this book however as the book is very similar to Twilight itself I couldn't help but to compare the two books mentally even though I was trying not to. I did love some of the changes that were made to the book however to make it more into its own story. Such changes as how Beau and Edythe talk about her being a vampire I thought was a much better way of doing things as it seemed to flow better. As...
