While going through the death of his brother the main character gets turned into a bear which the spirits choose for him to help guide him into the man he is meant to be. This is great as it helps him to relate to the bears in which he hates due to his brothers death and learn a lot about himself as well as trying to help those around him. By keeping throughout the story how his only brother left hunting him ...

I really like that this movie has clans which is something that is a huge part of Scotland's past and by having really common Scottish names it gave it more of a Scottish feel to the movie. Having a lead character in which doesn't want to be married off and wants to be her own person I think is a really key thing for people to watch and for children to know that it is okay ...
