My Review:
Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else.

I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how the student was getting close to the teacher and secluding him from everyone he was close to from her mother which he was dating and his daughter who finds out about them on her birthday. Showing how crazy the student really was is a good addition as the watcher was able to see how the student was breaking her hand and giving herself concussions and posting photos about herself and setting another student up so that she could get rid of anyone that she considered competition. With the ending also showing how she had done this with another teacher and would kill the teacher who she was obsessed with kill his daughter and her friend just so that she is the only person still in his life and so that he has nothing but her left. The very end showing how the teacher was starting another new job to get away from her and seeing her at the ending having found him shows that she is not done with him and that she is not going to let go of him easily.

On the other hand, the writing is not perfect and could have been done better, also it seemed rather unrealistic at times with how the teacher was not able to push the stalker off of himself and was not able to defend himself even though he seemed really strong where as she was skinny and didn't look like she would be hard to push away and get away from. Another thing that dd bother me was how at the ending the student who was stalking him was seen outside of his home and still following him even though she had stabbed his daughter and the evidence showing that she had killed someone else and seemed to have no punishment at all for it.

I do think My Teacher, My Obsssion is one of the better stalker movies in which I have personally seen and that it would be good for someone who likes films about stalkers and a thriller to see. I would also recommend this film to those who are wanting something that is not really gory at all and doesn't show nudity. I would see this film again.

My Rating: 4/5

Little Italy (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Little Italy Year: 2018 Genre: Comedy, Romance Directed By: Donald Petrie Starring: Hayden Christensen, Emma Roberts, Danny Aiello About:  A young couple must navigate a blossoming romance, amidst a war between their families' competing pizza restaurants. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8lDreq9le4 My Review: Wanting to watch a rom-com and having this on my Watch List on Netflix I couldn't resist but give this film a chance and see what I thought. Having liked Emma Roberts in everything I had seen her in previously as well I was excited to see if this was another film of hers in which I would enjoy. This film surprised me however I ended up enjoying this more than I expected. I liked that this film had a Romeo and Juliet vibe with the families not liking each other however the children both being in love with each other and feeling that their families were the reason in which they couldn't be together. I also thought it was clever having the gr...

Film: She's The Man Year: 2006 Genre: Comedy, Romance, Sport Directed By: Andy Fickman Starring: Amanda Bynes, Laura Ramsey, Channing Tatum About:  When her brother decides to ditch for a couple weeks, Viola heads over to his elite boarding school, disguised as him, and proceeds to fall for his school's star soccer player, and soon learns she's not the only one with romantic troubles Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf67WlthWXk My Review: Having spent a lot of my teenage years watching She's The Man I thought I would give it a watch as I hadn't seen it in a while and loved this film all over again. I love how this film although being about football and being something I am not interested in brings it to an enjoyable place for me as well as having the comedy and romance side to keep me fully entertained. Having the film show how the girls team was cut from Viola's school and showing how she just wanted to play and would have played on the b...
