My Review:
Being given a free copy of Time Travel for an honest review I decided to give this a read. Having thought it sounded interesting I was looking forward to seeing how this book would go forward and although this book had some good ideas I don't feel like this book was fully finished.

Time Travel is about a girl who invents a time machine and when coming home from the future finds that her boyfriend has went to the past and gotten himself stuck there so tries to get him back while making friends along the way.

I liked that this book had that when the couple went to the future and came across a robot went on an adventure with it after knowing it had been abandoned for a long time. Not only this but by having the main girl character Angelie come back for the robot when her boyfriend goes missing and asks for his help was really sweet and really helped to connect those characters. I also thought by having the end of the book showing how she was making a duplicate of the robot which turns out to have been originally made by her really good as it showed how he helped to change the future but not only this it showed how good an inventor that Angelie was by creating something which was also used in the future. By also showing how both Angelie and her boyfriend John's side of events and what was happening to both of them I thought that it helped to really understand how both of the people were feeling and what changes were happening to both of them and how they overcame obstacles which were set in their path.

However, I felt that this book wasn't finished and came across as a draft with sentences not formed properly which left me feeling confused at times but also rather annoyed at the fact I had to try and figure out what was happening at points in the book. I thought that if the book was given proof reading and more drafts then it would have sorted these problems which occur throughout the novel which was disappointing in my opinion. I also thought that all of the characters seemed the same and when they were talking I didn't know who was saying what as all of the characters seemed to blend in together. Not only this but I felt that the character's were not believable and their actions and how everyone forgave them like it was nothing even when out of character seemed really odd and made me feel like I didn't want to carry on reading and made me roll my eyes on more than one occasion.

Overall, Time Travel didn't seem like a finished book to me and left me feeling rather disappointed in a book I was looking forward to reading. I do think that with some changes to this book it would be entertaining and one that I would have enjoyed a lot more. Personally, I don't feel like I would read this again.

My Rating: 2/5

Not remembering it made me feel like this was a new movie to me and I did keep me watching all of the way through easily. I like that this film showed how the device in which they discover is able to make people stronger and able to make them younger as well. By also having this device able to reattach body parts it makes the audience worried about how they will get rid o

Moon Over Soho - Ben Aaronovitch (book review) *contains spoilers*

Book: Moon Over Soho Author: Ben Aaronovitch Genre: Crime, Fantasy, Mystery Published By: Gollancz Published Year: 2011 My Review: Having my colleague let me borrow the second book in the Peter Grant series I was looking forward to see how they would progress from the first book and what supernatural beings that they would have to defeat now. Moon Over Soho  is about jazz musicians who end up dying not long after coming off of the stage and seeming healthy at the time. Feeling that something is wrong they call in Peter Grant to help with the investigation and discover that something supernatural was going on. While this is happening there is a new threat arriving called The Faceless One who is also a wizard but no-one remembers what they look like. Will Peter be able to stop the threats facing London? Personally, I liked this book a lot more than the first book as it was already established also there was more supernatural beings introduced and to worry about in London th
