My Review:
Having had my eye on this film since last month I finally gave in and decided to watch it. Leaving looking into this film and not seeing the trailer as I didn't want to ruin this for myself either I went in with an open mind and unsure what to expect. This film definitely exceeded my expectations and left me constantly wanting to know what was going to happen next.

I thought that Mune: Guardian of the Moon was great in that it had someone who didn't want the job of guardian get it and have to learn it all for themselves without any guidance or advise which I thought was nice to see as it seems rare in movies. Not only this but the animation style of this film was different to what I am used to but not only suited the film but also kept the childhood feeling alive which was something I thought was really nice to watch. Having another style for the animation which was set in the dream world was really good as it helped to really show which world the characters were in at a time and gave more understanding to Mune's powers in the film. Having the guardian of the sun also not sure about Mune and wanting the man who had been trained to be the guardian which got refused the title of guardian of the moon not believe in him was a good way of showing how people can have a wrong impression. Not only this but after Mune is able to help save the moon and both character's realise how wrong they were about him and even become friends was something I thought was really sweet and touching. I loved that the girl in the film needed the heat and was able to help both of the guardians in getting back the sun and the moon and bring back the world in which they knew. She made me smile and when she dies at the end of the film saving the sun was really sweet however made me tear up a little when she got revived and seeing how happy both of the guardians were about her return as well as finding her love for Mune, which leads to them being together. I found the story was original and that did make this an even better watch in my opinion as it kept me wondering what was going to happen next especially when the moon fully disappears and a lava monster darkens the sun. I did think that one of the small lava monsters were really funny and sweet that he just wanted to look after plants and be part with nature as well as not hurt anyone around him unlike his friend. Finally, having the lava monster as someone who was corrupted by darkness and only after the darkness is taken out of him that he is able to find peace and that the land around him becomes healthy and happy was really interesting and showed how darkness corrupts those around them but lightness is able to create a good atmosphere around yourself as well as able to effect the people and atmosphere around yourself.

I couldn't fault this film and thought that it was really enjoyable as well as made me laugh at times throughout as well. I would highly recommend Mune: Guardian of the Moon to those who like animation films and want something that is original. I am definitely going to be seeing this again and so happy that I decided to give this film a chance.

My Rating: 5/5

Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4F3Sn-Xzzo My Review: Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession  which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else. I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how the stude

Sahara (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Sahara Year: 2017 Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy Directed By: Pierre Core Starring: Omar Sy, Louane Emera, Franck Gastambide About:  A young cobra and his scorpion best friend go on a journey across the Sahara desert to save a new-found love Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3IRkT9JsqM My Review: Having a movie day I came across Sahara when on Netflix and having no expectations about this film and also not knowing what it was about I thought that it would be the perfect film to blog about. I did think that this was a cute adventure movie but would be better suited to a younger audience than myself. I found that this film was really sweet that the snake wanted to go across the desert in order to find a snake in which he found he felt a connection with even though they were different kinds and also from different worlds. I also thought by having the girls brother being a drug addict and struggling with wanting more drugs and wanting to leave his sister w

I Am Wrath (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: I Am Wrath Year: 2016 Genre: Action, Crime, Drama Directed By: Chuck Russell Starring: John Travolta, Christopher Meloni, Amanda Schull About:  A man is out for justice after a group of corrupt police officers are unable to catch his wife's killer. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwiQCDpYzjE My Review: When my mum came home with this movie I had no idea what to expect as I had never heard of it before but liking a lot of movies with John Travolta I had high hopes that I would enjoy it. This film did surprise me a lot and something in which I enjoyed a lot more than I had expected. Starting I Am Wrath with Stanley's wife dying and how he went out for revenge made me think that this was somewhat based off of a John Wick movie, however as a fan of the trilogy this didn't bother me at all. Showing how the police and people higher up didn't care about who killed his wife and even let the killer go as he was part of a gang in which the police wer
