My Review:
Having had this in my To Watch Pile for a while I thought it would be a perfect time to give this a watch for the first time. Being a fan of the first movie I wasn't sure what to expect with this movie and although this was different from what I would have expected I did think think that this was a good watch.

Showing at the beginning of the movie how she took down Bateman and never got caught showed how she became a killer and really helped to show the character right from the beginning. By also having her motivation to join the FBI so she could take down other serial killers was something else in which I thought was well done as it gave her killing purpose when she started killing her peers in order to get a teaching assistant job. Showing how she killed was in all different ways such as strangling, hanging, bashing heads in and more showed how she thought tactfully about how she would kill people and where she would put the bodies so that they would not be found. I did think that the ending was also a good twist with her not really being Rachel Newman and that she was using the alias in order to be at the university which later we see that she kills someone else to also steal theirs and get into the FBI which only the shrink she spoke to ended up finding out about. This did make me wonder who she really was which was kept a mystery even in the ending.

I did think however that by having the voice over throughout the film did distract me and was something that rather annoyed me about this movie. Not only this but I thought the acting and the script was not perfect for this movie and the motivation behind her killing was wrong. I do think that this movie would have been better if it wasn't a sequel to the American Psycho movie as I feel that it changed my opinion on it due to it not being something that the audience asked for.

Overall, this was a good killer movie and one that did surprise me with the ending of it and the twist I didn't see coming.  This is a film I would recommend to teenagers who are looking for a killer movie and a thriller. This is a film I would see again!

My Rating: 3/5

My Review:
Being a movie I discovered years ago and completely fell in love with to the point it is one of my favourite movies of all time, I was excited to see that they had finally put this on Netflix so that others could discover it and love it as much as myself. As a result I thought I would re-watch Snowpiercer and give it a review which is fun for me as it is a film in which I really enjoy and feel is very underrated.

I love how this film begins by showing you how the passengers who are on the train that goes around the world are the only survivors of the human race. By doing this it shows how key the train …

My Review:
Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else.

I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how the student was getting close to…

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (film review)

Film: Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
Year: 2017
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy
Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Jack Black
About: Four teenagers are sucked into a magical video game, and the only way they can escape is to work together to finish the game.

My Review: As someone who grew up watching the Jumanji film with Robin Williams I was worried about the new film and if this would ruin the film that I grew up loving. I was gladly proven wrong! This film is based after Jumanji and is through a video game which is more with the times rather than board games, not only this but it is based around two people who are more nerds/geeks (one male and one female) and two of the popular group (one male and one female). As you see them coming to terms with their new characters and making it so that the popular ones are the more weak characters who aren't as popular and vice versa it made the film something for everyone. The casting for this film was amazing and having such amaz…
