My Review:
Having had this in my To Watch Pile for a while I thought it would be a perfect time to give this a watch for the first time. Being a fan of the first movie I wasn't sure what to expect with this movie and although this was different from what I would have expected I did think think that this was a good watch.

Showing at the beginning of the movie how she took down Bateman and never got caught showed how she became a killer and really helped to show the character right from the beginning. By also having her motivation to join the FBI so she could take down other serial killers was something else in which I thought was well done as it gave her killing purpose when she started killing her peers in order to get a teaching assistant job. Showing how she killed was in all different ways such as strangling, hanging, bashing heads in and more showed how she thought tactfully about how she would kill people and where she would put the bodies so that they would not be found. I did think that the ending was also a good twist with her not really being Rachel Newman and that she was using the alias in order to be at the university which later we see that she kills someone else to also steal theirs and get into the FBI which only the shrink she spoke to ended up finding out about. This did make me wonder who she really was which was kept a mystery even in the ending.

I did think however that by having the voice over throughout the film did distract me and was something that rather annoyed me about this movie. Not only this but I thought the acting and the script was not perfect for this movie and the motivation behind her killing was wrong. I do think that this movie would have been better if it wasn't a sequel to the American Psycho movie as I feel that it changed my opinion on it due to it not being something that the audience asked for.

Overall, this was a good killer movie and one that did surprise me with the ending of it and the twist I didn't see coming.  This is a film I would recommend to teenagers who are looking for a killer movie and a thriller. This is a film I would see again!

My Rating: 3/5

Sahara (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Sahara Year: 2017 Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy Directed By: Pierre Core Starring: Omar Sy, Louane Emera, Franck Gastambide About:  A young cobra and his scorpion best friend go on a journey across the Sahara desert to save a new-found love Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3IRkT9JsqM My Review: Having a movie day I came across Sahara when on Netflix and having no expectations about this film and also not knowing what it was about I thought that it would be the perfect film to blog about. I did think that this was a cute adventure movie but would be better suited to a younger audience than myself. I found that this film was really sweet that the snake wanted to go across the desert in order to find a snake in which he found he felt a connection with even though they were different kinds and also from different worlds. I also thought by having the girls brother being a drug addict and struggling with wanting more drugs and wanting to leave his...

The Current War (film review)

Film: The Current War Year: 2017 Genre: Biography, Drama, History Directed By: Alfonso Gomez-Rejon Starring: Benedict Cumberbatch, Oliver Powell, Katherine Waterston About:  The dramatic story of the cutthroat race between electricity titans Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse to determine whose electrical system would power the modern world Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kue18AxK1tU My Review: Having wanted to see The Current War since it was in the cinema after seeing how it had an incredible cast of actors in which I already like I knew I had to see it once it came onto DVD. Not only this but not knowing much about the electricity feud this was a subject in which I found myself really interested in which made me enjoy this film a lot more than I had expected. I thought that it was good how it showed the rivalry between both Edison and Westinghouse and how Edison was willing to tarnish his name in order to get ahead and even go against his own beli...

Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4F3Sn-Xzzo My Review: Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession  which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else. I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how...
