My Review:
Having not seen this movie in years but only remembering good things about it I couldn't resist but to give this a watch and it really doesn't disappoint at all!

While going through the death of his brother the main character gets turned into a bear which the spirits choose for him to help guide him into the man he is meant to be. This is great as it helps him to relate to the bears in which he hates due to his brothers death and learn a lot about himself as well as trying to help those around him. By keeping throughout the story how his only brother left hunting him as he blames him for the death of his brother without realising who he is showed how much he wanted to revenge his brothers and that when something bad happens it is easy to hold a grudge. I think by keeping the comedy in this light especially at moment which are really saddening it helps to bring this movie into one that everyone can watch and understand. The moment which the little bear realises it is true about his mother being dead is a really heavy scene in which has a lot of emotion and due to the connection which the audience is able to get with each of the characters helps to make this sad and one that people are able to tear up at or cry at. With the ending having the brother realise that his brother is a bear and has chosen to stay as one so that he can stay with the little bear it is a really sweet moment which changes everyone's views of the bear who lives within their tribe. It is really sweet to see how the movie shows how different experiences and seeing things through someone else's eyes can really change your opinion and outlook on life. I do think that the animation style within this movie is brilliant and shows that 2D animation is one that is still a really nice style and that not everything needs to be done in 3D as it fits amazingly well with the style of movie as a whole.

I don't feel anything in this movie could be improved upon and this is a Disney movie which is very underrated but one that is one of their best. I would recommend this movie to those who are looking for an animation movie with animals and one that is rather powerful to watch as well as very light toned throughout. I highly recommend this movie and this is one I will definitely be watching again.

My Rating: 5/5

I love how this film although being about football and being something I am not interested in brings it to an enjoyable place for me as well as having the comedy and romance side to keep me fully entertained. Having the film show how the girls team was cut from Viola's school and showing how she just wanted to play and would have played on the b...
