My Review:
Having not seen this movie in years but only remembering good things about it I couldn't resist but to give this a watch and it really doesn't disappoint at all!

While going through the death of his brother the main character gets turned into a bear which the spirits choose for him to help guide him into the man he is meant to be. This is great as it helps him to relate to the bears in which he hates due to his brothers death and learn a lot about himself as well as trying to help those around him. By keeping throughout the story how his only brother left hunting him as he blames him for the death of his brother without realising who he is showed how much he wanted to revenge his brothers and that when something bad happens it is easy to hold a grudge. I think by keeping the comedy in this light especially at moment which are really saddening it helps to bring this movie into one that everyone can watch and understand. The moment which the little bear realises it is true about his mother being dead is a really heavy scene in which has a lot of emotion and due to the connection which the audience is able to get with each of the characters helps to make this sad and one that people are able to tear up at or cry at. With the ending having the brother realise that his brother is a bear and has chosen to stay as one so that he can stay with the little bear it is a really sweet moment which changes everyone's views of the bear who lives within their tribe. It is really sweet to see how the movie shows how different experiences and seeing things through someone else's eyes can really change your opinion and outlook on life. I do think that the animation style within this movie is brilliant and shows that 2D animation is one that is still a really nice style and that not everything needs to be done in 3D as it fits amazingly well with the style of movie as a whole.

I don't feel anything in this movie could be improved upon and this is a Disney movie which is very underrated but one that is one of their best. I would recommend this movie to those who are looking for an animation movie with animals and one that is rather powerful to watch as well as very light toned throughout. I highly recommend this movie and this is one I will definitely be watching again.

My Rating: 5/5

Otherlife (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Otherlife Year: 2017 Genre: Crime, Mystery, Sci-fi Directed By: Ben C. Lucas Starring: Jessica De Gouw, Thomas Cocquerel, T.J. Power About:  After inventing a drug that induces time-compressed virtual realities, young Ren grapples with partner Sam over how to use their powerful creation. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qav2Z0TgYMA My Review: Seeing a film on Netflix that didn't sound familiar but was also sci-fi I had to give Otherlife a watch and this did surprise me however didn't leave me as satisfied as I hoped that it would. Otherlife is about a drug which creates a virtual reality however seems to be like real memories and a days worth of memories can be done very quickly. While trying to get funding Ren by accident ends up killing someone due to a glitch in the programme. As a result of this she gets put in an isolation in her own mind for a year due to the government wanting to use it on prisoners which is only an hour in the real world. ...

The Beyond (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: The Beyond Year: 2017 Genre: Sci-fi Directed By: Hasraf Dulull Starring: David Bailie, Jane Perry, Brian Deacon About:  Set in 2019, The Beyond chronicles the groundbreaking mission which sent astronauts - modified with advanced robotics, through a newly discovered worm hole known as the Void. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQE7NGkJZHs My Review: Letting my mum choose the movie for tonight she chose the film The Beyond which made me go into the film blind knowing nothing more than it was a sci-fi movie. I am glad I did go into this blind however as I am not sure I would have seen it otherwise. The Beyond is about a black hole which appears just outside of Earth and how astronauts are going to try and find out what is on the other side and what would happen if this did happen in the next y...

I Am Wrath (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: I Am Wrath Year: 2016 Genre: Action, Crime, Drama Directed By: Chuck Russell Starring: John Travolta, Christopher Meloni, Amanda Schull About:  A man is out for justice after a group of corrupt police officers are unable to catch his wife's killer. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwiQCDpYzjE My Review: When my mum came home with this movie I had no idea what to expect as I had never heard of it before but liking a lot of movies with John Travolta I had high hopes that I would enjoy it. This film did surprise me a lot and something in which I enjoyed a lot more than I had expected. Starting I Am Wrath with Stanley's wife dying and how he went out for revenge made me think that this was somewhat based off of a John Wick movie, however as a fan of the trilogy this didn't bother me at all. Showing how the police and people higher up didn't care about who killed his wife and even let the killer go as he was part of a gang in which the police wer...
