Delivery Man (Film review)

Film: Delivery Man
Year: 2013
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Starring: Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders
About: An affable underachiever finds out he's fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago. Now he must decide whether or not to come forward when 142 of them file a lawsuit to reveal his identity.

My Review:
This is a film I have seen many times however never get bored or tired of, so given a nice and relaxing night I decided to give this another watch and share my views on it.

This film is about a man who when his sperm is used to father over 500 children and 142 want to find out who he is decides to find out a little about his children without them knowing it. With a law suit also in place for him to reveal who he is while he still wants to be an anonymous donor who will win the law suit and will he ever reveal who he is?

This is a film I never get bored of no matter how many times I see it and leaves me smiling and feeling warm inside. This is a great drama movie and one that I would highly recommend people to watch especially if you are a Vince Vaughn fan like I am myself. With great acting and a good original story to go with it, this is a film which should not be missed!

My Rating: 4/5

My Review:
Having had my eye on this film for a while I was la when Netflix brought it on the service and I could finally see this especially with it having Dwayne Johnson and Vince Vaughn in it. Being also asked to review this film I thought it would be a good opportunity to do both of these at the same time. This is a film I never noticed was a biography movie before seeing it and I thought was good for showing more about the wrestler Paige.

I enjoyed how this film showed how a girl from England first got into wrestling and how it was her dream to be in the WWE and got given the opportunity. By also showing how she goes throu…

The Current War (film review)

Film: The Current War
Year: 2017

About: The dramatic story of the cutthroat race between electricity titans Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse to determine whose electrical system would power the modern world
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kue18AxK1tU

My Review:
Having wanted to see The Current War since it was in the cinema after seeing how it had an incredible cast of actors in which I already like I knew I had to see it once it came onto DVD. Not only this but not knowing much about the electricity feud this was a subject in which I found myself really interested in which made me enjoy this film a lot more than I had expected.

I thought that it was good how it showed the rivalry between both Edison and Westinghouse and how Edison was willing to tarnish his name in order to get ahead and even go against his own beliefs in order to try and win the…

Film: Fred Claus
Year: 2007
Genre: Comedy, Family, Fantasy
Directed By: David Dobkin

About: Fred Claus, Santa's bitter older brother, is forced to move to the North Pole to help Santa and the elves prepare for Christmas in exchange for cash.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzXjtxZaGS8

My Review:
Over the Christmas period I decided to watch some films that I hadn't previously seen before and one of those being Fred Claus I thought that this was different to other Christmas movies as it focus' on Santa's brother rather than on Santa himself but also on how to keep Christmas alive and not have it closed down. By having Vince Vaughn as the main character in this I had good expectations for this movie as I generally enjoy everything in which I have seen him in.

I thought that Fred Claus was good in how it showed how Nicholas became a saint and how he is able to be Santa with the family not being able to age as a resul…
