Ready Player One (film review)

My Review:
Having heard amazing things about this film and that it has a lot of references to other movies, books and games I couldn't help but go to the cinema at the first opportunity I had to go and see this film.

Ready Player One is about a group of people who are in a virtual reality game called the OASIS and tries to find the three keys in which the dead creator has made to obtain his fortune and control of the OASIS. However, another company are also after the winnings who are a rival and go after the people in the real world as well as in the virtual world.

I personally loved this film, with loads of references to books, movies and games this made me really excited throughout the film as a fan of most of the references that they made. As well as this having it in a virtual reality because there isn't anything in the real world I thought was an amazing concept as virtual reality is becoming a thing of the present time we are currently living in and could be how the world really becomes in the next couple of decades. I did find hat the acting choices were also done really well and having seen the film I couldn't think of a better cast.

With making an overall message showing that we need to take more of an interest and be more in the real world instead of virtual world which I thought was really fitting for a world which is now being more online and is how most people find new friends etc. I would highly recommend this film to everyone as it has something for everybody wither it's love, adventure, animation and comedy all in one movie.

I will definitely be now checking out the book and really hope it is as good as the film or even better than it! One of my favourite movies of 2018 so far!
