Film: HOP

Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy
Starring: Russell Brand, James Marsden, Elizabeth Perkins

My Review:
As it is Easter I decided to watch an Easter movie and one of the only films that came to mind was HOP which by luck is also currently streaming on Netflix at the moment. So what better opportunity to watch this film than during the holiday!

HOP is a film about EB who is going to take over being the Easter Bunny this year however has dreams of being a drummer so runs away from home and runs into a man who is looking for a job and tries to get his life on track. While this is happening a chick over on Easter Island is trying to take over from EB and be the next Easter bunny!!

I think this is such a feel good film and one of the only family Easter films which doesn't have to do with Jesus. I think this film is such a cute film and it does make me laugh with some jokes which is perfect for the adults as well as humour for the children who also see this. Not only this but I think that showing how things are on Easter Island as well as how EB is getting on away from home is a good combination to show what is happening with EB's disappearance.

I would recommend this movie to families who are looking for a film to watch which is not only animated but does have real people in it as well. It is also good for the Easter period with being about the Easter Bunny and saving Easter so that it continues for everyone around the world.

My Rating: 4/5

Film: My Teacher, My Obsession Year: 2018 Genre: Drama, Thriller Directed By: Damian Romay Starring: Lucy Loken, Laura Bilgeri, Rusty Joiner About:  Riley struggles to meet friends after transferring to a new high school where her father is an English teacher. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4F3Sn-Xzzo My Review: Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession  which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else. I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how...

Sahara (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Sahara Year: 2017 Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy Directed By: Pierre Core Starring: Omar Sy, Louane Emera, Franck Gastambide About:  A young cobra and his scorpion best friend go on a journey across the Sahara desert to save a new-found love Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3IRkT9JsqM My Review: Having a movie day I came across Sahara when on Netflix and having no expectations about this film and also not knowing what it was about I thought that it would be the perfect film to blog about. I did think that this was a cute adventure movie but would be better suited to a younger audience than myself. I found that this film was really sweet that the snake wanted to go across the desert in order to find a snake in which he found he felt a connection with even though they were different kinds and also from different worlds. I also thought by having the girls brother being a drug addict and struggling with wanting more drugs and wanting to leave his...

Circle (film review)

Film: Circle Year: 2015 Genre: Drama, Horror, Mystery Directed By: Aaron Hann, Mario Miscione Starring: Allegra Masters, Aimee McKay, Ashley Key About:  Held captive and faced with their imminent executions, fifty strangers are forced to choose the one person among them who deserves to live. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAlpm2oRzy8 My Review: Having not watched this movie in a while and wanting to watch it all day, I caved and put this on through Netflix. Personally, I like horror movies that have a psychological twist such as this film about right and wrong. I have seen this film before and I wouldn't say that it is amazing but it is a good watch.  I liked how Circle  had a lot of different characters and that the viewer got to see the movie from everyone's perspective not just one or two characters while also leaving the questions "why are they there?" and "what is the purpose of the circle?" which left me hoping for more answers as the film w...
