My Review:
As it is Easter I decided to watch an Easter movie and one of the only films that came to mind was HOP which by luck is also currently streaming on Netflix at the moment. So what better opportunity to watch this film than during the holiday!

HOP is a film about EB who is going to take over being the Easter Bunny this year however has dreams of being a drummer so runs away from home and runs into a man who is looking for a job and tries to get his life on track. While this is happening a chick over on Easter Island is trying to take over from EB and be the next Easter bunny!!

I think this is such a feel good film and one of the only family Easter films which doesn't have to do with Jesus. I think this film is such a cute film and it does make me laugh with some jokes which is perfect for the adults as well as humour for the children who also see this. Not only this but I think that showing how things are on Easter Island as well as how EB is getting on away from home is a good combination to show what is happening with EB's disappearance.

I would recommend this movie to families who are looking for a film to watch which is not only animated but does have real people in it as well. It is also good for the Easter period with being about the Easter Bunny and saving Easter so that it continues for everyone around the world.

My Rating: 4/5

She's The Man (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: She's The Man Year: 2006 Genre: Comedy, Romance, Sport Directed By: Andy Fickman Starring: Amanda Bynes, Laura Ramsey, Channing Tatum About:  When her brother decides to ditch for a couple weeks, Viola heads over to his elite boarding school, disguised as him, and proceeds to fall for his school's star soccer player, and soon learns she's not the only one with romantic troubles Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf67WlthWXk My Review: Having spent a lot of my teenage years watching She's The Man I thought I would give it a watch as I hadn't seen it in a while and loved this film all over again. I love how this film although being about football and being something I am not interested in brings it to an enjoyable place for me as well as having the comedy and romance side to keep me fully entertained. Having the film show how the girls team was cut from Viola's school and showing how she just wanted to play and would have played on the b

The Girl With All The Gifts (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: The Girl With All The Gifts Year: 2016 Genre: Drama, Horror, Sci-fi Directed By: Colm McCarthy Starring: Sennia Nanua, Fisayo Akinade, Dominique Tipper About:  A scientist and a teacher living in a dystopian future embark on a journey of survival with a special young girl named Melanie. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjGkB_oWTe0 My Review: Having been interested in this movie for a while and it really catching my eye lately especially with it being on Netflix I couldn't resist but to give this a watch. This is something in which I had better expectations for than it gave me and seemed a rather forgettable movie even though it wasn't a bad watch. I liked that The Girl With All The Gifts started with showing how the children were taught and kept in separate rooms however made the audience wonder why they were kept that way when they seemed like normal children. Later discovering that they were zombies and that there was a zombie break all over the w

A Letter For The King- Tonke Dragt (book review) *contains spoilers*

Book: The Letter For The King Author: Tonke Dragt Genre: fiction, adventure Published By: Pushkin Children's Books Published Year: 1962 My Review: I managed to get this book from NetGalley for an honest review and I am so glad that I did choose this book to read. This book is put into a prologue and eight different sections which indicate where in the story the characters are as well as chapter titles to make the reader have some idea what the chapter they are reading about. Prologue: In this part of the book the reader is made to understand the past of Dagonaut also how the knights are appointed to the king and why there are five boys in a chapel just outside of the town who is doing a vigil. This is a great way to let the reader understand how the following boys are where they are and makes the reader wonder which of these boys are going to be going on an adventure and how if they are so close to the king this would be a long book.
