Avengers: Infinity War (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Avengers: Infinity War
Year: 2018
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Director: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo
Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Josh Brolin, Benedict Cumberbatch
About: The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

My Review:
Having been waiting over a year for the new Avengers: Infinity War movie and seeing that they were doing a midnight release for the film I couldn't resist getting my ticket and seeing it the moment that it came out.

Avengers: Infinity War is about Thanos and how he is trying to get all of the infinity stones so that he can get rid of half of the universe's population. As a result of this we see all of the Avengers and some other Marvel characters come together to try and protect the universe from Thanos.

Having went into this film already excited I was not at all disappointed as the film completely exceeded my expectations. From the first moment of the movie and seeing the Loki die by the hand of Thanos which made the film right away full of action. As the film continues you see how the Avengers meet the Guardians of the Galaxy and how they interact with each other and start to work together to take down Thanos. With more deaths being made throughout the film it was honestly so heartbreaking, luckily the film does have the humor in which you would expect from a Marvel movie making the film more lighthearted. With the film also being one of two parts it does make the ending where you see Thanos getting all of the stones and eliminating the planet of the half of the population and most of the Avengers, making you unable to stop crying. There is also only one end scene in Infinity War and this shows that this film is made into two parts and that the audience now have to wait till 2019 for the second half of the movie to be shown.

I could not recommend this film any higher! If you are a Marvel fan you will love it and if you like action then you will not be disappointed at all. I am seriously excited already for the second half of Infinity War to come out and see what happens next.

My Rating: 5/5

My Review:
Being excited that there was a Spider-man movie coming out I needed to see it as soon as I could however this film left me feeling kinda disappointed at the end of the film which did upset me and I feel like they rushed over some parts and made other parts just a little too slow for me personally.

I did like that this film showed what happened to everyone since the Blip which happened in the Avengers movies and that even though some people aged the ones who came back were the same age and had to continue life as they had before. This helped to explain what happened with everyone after the events of Endgame and showed how life continued. I also…

Mute (film review)

Film: Mute
Year: 2018
Genre: Mystery, Sci-fi, Thriller
Starring: Alexander Skarsgard, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux
About: A mute bartender goes up against his city's gangsters in an effort to find out what happened to his missing partner.

My Review:
Seeing this come up on my recommended for me on Netflix I decided to see if this would be any good. Liking Alexander Skarsgard as an actor, seeing him in a different role than I usually see him in really intrigued me.

The film is about a man called Leo who is a mute and when his girlfriend goes missing tries to find her any way that he can. At the same time the audience is seeing a man who seems to be involved in crime and who is trying to leave the country to go back to America.

I found that this film had a slower plot than I would have personally liked and it could have been more in depth with the movie however it was a good watch that I would see again. I also think that this highlights Alexander Skarsgard's acting ability as he is a m…

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Akira Himekawa (book review)

Majora's Mask is the second graphic novel from the Legend of Zelda series by Akira Himekawa. As a Zelda fan myself and liking the game that this is based off of I found this book really enjoyable. It changes parts of the game in order to get it faster paced for the book however this doesn't fault the book at all. Not only this but the graphics within this book are really good and made me love the book even more while also making me have the music from the game in my head.

The book also has a bonus story at the end which is about the making of the mask and how the mask came into being, I found this really fitting and something that is not only original but something that needed to be added to the book. As in the games it doesn't tell you how the mask was made or the story behind it this bonus story seemed like a more fulfilling piece of the story and tied up any loose ends such as how the mask came to be and why it is cursed.

As a Zelda fan I can't fault this book and …
