My Review:
Having spent a lot of my teenage years watching She's The Man I thought I would give it a watch as I hadn't seen it in a while and loved this film all over again. I love how this film although being about football and being something I am not interested in brings it to an enjoyable place for me as well as having the comedy and romance side to keep me fully entertained.

Having the film show how the girls team was cut from Viola's school and showing how she just wanted to play and would have played on the boy's team showed how she was dedicated to the game and wouldn't let anybody stop her. Especially as she goes to their rival school and pretends to be her brother while he goes and plays his music in a different country just in order to play football and show that she is just as good as the boys and wanting to beat her own school in order to prove that to them. I thought by also having Viola start to fall in love with her roommate who thinks that she is really her brother Sebastian quite funny and some of the interactions made me laugh as well as when Viola was being rude about female's he says how he doesn't like it and that he just wants a woman in which he can be happy with and showed how sensitive he really was. There is a lot in this film that makes me laugh and also makes me hope that the main characters in the film will get together as well as having me hope that Viola will be able to beat her own school in order to show that girls are just as good as boys are. One of my favourite parts of the film is near the end when people are realising that Sebastian has been away however is at the football game is not meant to be playing and has to prove that he is actually a boy and same with Viola showing she is a girl when deciding to be herself and no longer lie to those around her especially if it meant that the man she was falling for would be angry at her and not let her help win the game. After showing how the coach didn't care however that her previous coach did and how he was shown how it doesn't matter what gender they are as long as they are able to play the game. By having this scene in the film it was something in which I thought was funny but also showed how sexism is in sport and men feel that woman is not able to compete with them. Having the main character's at the end decide to be together I thought was really sweet and always makes me extremely happy. I think the acting in this is brilliant and really makes me like the character's within it. Not only this but made football more enjoyable for me when the sport scene's were happening which is something that I usually don't get with watching films.

Overall, I feel that this is a great teenage romance movie and one that is different to the usual high school rom-coms that are around. This is a film I would recommend to teenagers who are looking for a rom-com as well as those who are looking for a comedy film to see as it is the perfect balance in my opinion. I would definitely see this again.

My Rating: 4/5

To be honest, Everytime I see this movie I enjoy it alot as well. Funny thing is not many people know this movie's plot is alot similar to Shakespeare's Twelth Night...

All the Names, the Gender Swap and love interest thing is similar to that play but the story writers have very successfully converted this in to Modern Day Drama...

Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4F3Sn-Xzzo My Review: Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession  which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else. I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how...

Sahara (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Sahara Year: 2017 Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy Directed By: Pierre Core Starring: Omar Sy, Louane Emera, Franck Gastambide About:  A young cobra and his scorpion best friend go on a journey across the Sahara desert to save a new-found love Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3IRkT9JsqM My Review: Having a movie day I came across Sahara when on Netflix and having no expectations about this film and also not knowing what it was about I thought that it would be the perfect film to blog about. I did think that this was a cute adventure movie but would be better suited to a younger audience than myself. I found that this film was really sweet that the snake wanted to go across the desert in order to find a snake in which he found he felt a connection with even though they were different kinds and also from different worlds. I also thought by having the girls brother being a drug addict and struggling with wanting more drugs and wanting to leave his...

Circle (film review)

Film: Circle Year: 2015 Genre: Drama, Horror, Mystery Directed By: Aaron Hann, Mario Miscione Starring: Allegra Masters, Aimee McKay, Ashley Key About:  Held captive and faced with their imminent executions, fifty strangers are forced to choose the one person among them who deserves to live. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAlpm2oRzy8 My Review: Having not watched this movie in a while and wanting to watch it all day, I caved and put this on through Netflix. Personally, I like horror movies that have a psychological twist such as this film about right and wrong. I have seen this film before and I wouldn't say that it is amazing but it is a good watch.  I liked how Circle  had a lot of different characters and that the viewer got to see the movie from everyone's perspective not just one or two characters while also leaving the questions "why are they there?" and "what is the purpose of the circle?" which left me hoping for more answers as the film w...
