The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Akira Himekawa (book review)

Majora's Mask is the second graphic novel from the Legend of Zelda series by Akira Himekawa. As a Zelda fan myself and liking the game that this is based off of I found this book really enjoyable. It changes parts of the game in order to get it faster paced for the book however this doesn't fault the book at all. Not only this but the graphics within this book are really good and made me love the book even more while also making me have the music from the game in my head.

The book also has a bonus story at the end which is about the making of the mask and how the mask came into being, I found this really fitting and something that is not only original but something that needed to be added to the book. As in the games it doesn't tell you how the mask was made or the story behind it this bonus story seemed like a more fulfilling piece of the story and tied up any loose ends such as how the mask came to be and why it is cursed.

As a Zelda fan I can't fault this book and can't wait more of the Zelda series in which Akira Himekawa produces. I would recommend this to anyone who loves graphic novels as well as the people who enjoy the Legend of Zelda series.

Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4F3Sn-Xzzo My Review: Wanting a style of film I don't usually watch but do enjoy I decided to watch the stalker movie that is My Teacher, My Obsession  which is based on an English teacher who starts at a new school. However, when one of the students gets obsessed with him she will do anything to be with him including secluding him from everyone else. I liked the foreshadowing at the beginning of the movie which matched up to the ending very well and shows how throughout the movie that this was coming up. I also liked how the film showed how...

Sahara (film review) *contains spoilers*

Film: Sahara Year: 2017 Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy Directed By: Pierre Core Starring: Omar Sy, Louane Emera, Franck Gastambide About:  A young cobra and his scorpion best friend go on a journey across the Sahara desert to save a new-found love Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3IRkT9JsqM My Review: Having a movie day I came across Sahara when on Netflix and having no expectations about this film and also not knowing what it was about I thought that it would be the perfect film to blog about. I did think that this was a cute adventure movie but would be better suited to a younger audience than myself. I found that this film was really sweet that the snake wanted to go across the desert in order to find a snake in which he found he felt a connection with even though they were different kinds and also from different worlds. I also thought by having the girls brother being a drug addict and struggling with wanting more drugs and wanting to leave his...

Circle (film review)

Film: Circle Year: 2015 Genre: Drama, Horror, Mystery Directed By: Aaron Hann, Mario Miscione Starring: Allegra Masters, Aimee McKay, Ashley Key About:  Held captive and faced with their imminent executions, fifty strangers are forced to choose the one person among them who deserves to live. Trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAlpm2oRzy8 My Review: Having not watched this movie in a while and wanting to watch it all day, I caved and put this on through Netflix. Personally, I like horror movies that have a psychological twist such as this film about right and wrong. I have seen this film before and I wouldn't say that it is amazing but it is a good watch.  I liked how Circle  had a lot of different characters and that the viewer got to see the movie from everyone's perspective not just one or two characters while also leaving the questions "why are they there?" and "what is the purpose of the circle?" which left me hoping for more answers as the film w...
